The messenger said that they would like for me to place my artwork on an NFT platform… and that they would purchase my work for $2500 each; there was a so-called gas fee that I paid in crypto coin and they said I could add to the price of the piece $300 so my work became $2800 each. So, once purchased by this so-called buyer I then had a credit of approximately $9000 in my account…. once I decided to make a withdrawal of that 9000 I was then subjected to first an upgrade fee on the account which was $1600 and then an IRS statement which was $2500 and then a royalties fee, which was $5200 and then a swap and transfer fee of $4000 etc. this all in crypto coin which is irreversible! I am not alone in this scam. I’ve talk to one other artist. He is in the same boat as I while paying these fees they assure you that you will get all your money back in your withdrawal, they basically suck you dry , and you end up stopping because you’ve run out of money and now you realize these people are scam criminals assuring you you’re going to get all your money back plus your account balance …that at first they’re going to send you 15,000 and then it’s 22,000 and then is 30,000 and then is 40,000 and if you trust them you’re gone!
