I've had the same experience. I want to cancel this and have my computer cleared. How can I do this?

Same story. I was scammed. What I want to know is how do I cancel this and stop the constant calls that $399 is going to be charged to my credit card? I have tried calling back the numbers (It's different each time) and get "no longer in service" , "discontinued", or no answer.

I was doing an Internet search and a Microsoft pop-up froze my computer and a loud warning sound was audible and a voice said you have been infected with a virus, do not turn off your computer. Instructions were to call a toll free phone number for Microsoft tech support. I called the number and was given tech support to clean up my computer. I was asked to give him access to my computer which I did. After he was done, he stated he would pass this onto a CI SCO technician who I understood would finish the job by installing antivirus software onto my computer. They said I could hang up now and they would finish the job in an hour and then call me back when it was ready to use again. They made me pay $399 for the service and I gave them my credit card number. By the time I got the call, I realized I had been scammed.
