Type of a scam Employment
It was remote, high paying and sounded really simple. I accepted due to desperately job searching for almost a year, and after a week of doing basic tasks, they asked me to download WealthSimple so they could transfer money to me so I could purchase equipment from China as well as invest in crypto; however, I needed to switch autodeposit from WealthSimple into my chequing account. I told them I was currently in debt and was unable to do autodeposit, and all they said in response was "ok" and have not reached out since. That was on Monday.
