I looked up the make and model of my garage door. I went to the website that popped up and gave a call, and they said they had a technician in the area. He arrived and began to fix the garage door. He then took the springs off the door and said I owed him $275 for the service fee and could pay $2,000 to $850 for the various new spring options. I declined and told him to put it back together. He then requested his payment still as he had worked on the door. I told him I did not have cash or a check. He decided he would wait until he could follow me to an ATM. I gave him $280 in cash, and he promised me an emailed receipt. I never received a receipt obviously. I went back on the website, and I had been blocked on the website. I have not been blocked on his personal phone number yet.
