Letter received within a couple of months of purchasing new car. It lists my first and last name and is from "Warranty Services, Extended Coverage Department, P.O. B 85073 #66587, Richmond, VA 23285-5073.
Subject line: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED. Claims I had not contacted them to have the vehicle service contract for my vehicle updated. Has the correct year of the vehicle, but the VIN is incorrect.
When you call the phone number, no company name is mentioned in the answering recording.
They give a deadline of about a week to call, or else claim I would be no longer eligible "for this offer", or "be financially liable for any and all repairs after factory warranty expires".
Letter is not dated.
There is no signature line at the bottom.

Received a letter attempting to trick me into extending a manufactures warrantee that does not currently exist on a used vehicle purchased only 20 days ago. The letter states the this is the Final Notice and must be responded to by a specified date. This means they gained access to my name, address and vehicle information in less then 20 days. They only provide a small hard to read logo in one corner of the letter with no other mentions of the organizations name. No website, no physical address, only a toll free number to call.

Letter regarding vehicle warranty coverage.

I received a letter in the mail regarding my vehicle's extended warranty. It was good timing in that I am in the process of transferring a vehicle's extended warranty from the previous owner to myself. I assumed this letter was regarding this. Upon calling the number, I realized quickly this was not the case. This is a scam.

Received a letter in the mail with no return address besides "Official Business, Penalty for Private Use, $300". The letter lists a vehicle I have never owned and states "Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have the vehicle service contract for your Ford, Lincoln, Mercury updated. You are receiving this notice to ensure no lapse in warranty coverage" and says "FINAL NOTICE - RESPONSE REQUIRED" at the top with a phone number and deadline to call listed.

Got this in the mail yesterday. No return address. Didn’t call as it looks like a scam. They want me to sign up for a car service contract.
