I searched for an Alaska Airlines number online to help me check in a group reservation. The man on the line asked for my reservation #, how many people were traveling, to/from where, time, and my email address. He told me that I hadn't fully paid for my reservation and that we were all on standby. When I asked further questions, he said that I had to pay $75 per ticket to confirm my reservation (which I had already paid for in full). I asked to speak to a manager, and he also told me that in order to confirm my reservation, I had to submit payment over the phone. I hung up, and searched a phone number for Alaska group reservations phone number, and they said my reservation was fine, no issues, etc.

The number I called was NOT Alaska Airlines but claimed to be - that number is 888-544-6605.
