I paid a small amount for a personality quiz in July, without it being made clear that I was signing up for a subscription.

I only realized that I had been charged after 2 months had gone by, and I noticed 2 charges on my credit card. I reached out to the company to ask for a refund, and they said that the terms were made clear to me in an email. I did not receive any email from them, ever. They also refused to send me a copy of these terms, or to prove that the email containing these terms was sent to me.

After arguing with the customer service agent, I was eventually refunded one of these two charges, but not the other.
