When one off our owner operators broke down and needed tire repair. He got their phone number from google. they were advertising as tire/truck repair. He called for assistance but was told that he needs to pay before a mechanic can be dispatched. We issued n EFS check for 280 $ and we gave the number to the person that we were talking to. The mechanic arrived fix our tire and the next day he called the driver and then us saying that the check that we give him does not have any funds in it. As it turned out mobile Truck repair called the mechanic and posed as our company. When they spoke with the mechanic. when they were talking to us they pretended to be from the mechanic. someone from the scamming office cashed the check in Brokton , MA. they never paid the mechanic and now when we call them they keep hanging up.
