I ordered a preowned phone that was supposed to be for Verizon from Best Buy as a Christmas gift. The phone is actually for Sprint and was unable to be activated and not able to be returned. I attempted to have the phone unlocked by Mobile Unlocked and they told me it would take 23-72 hours. It was has been 30 days and they now say they are unable to unlock it and can only refund 50% of the money I paid.

I contacted Mobileunlocked to get an unused phone unlocked from ATT so my grandson can use it on another network. I had tried all the "free, do-it-yourself" methods advertised by this company and others, but, unsuprisingly failed. I asked this company to do that for me. I paid $24 up front and when they had completed the process, they told me I owed them $84 more before they would release the updated carrier to me. Their policies, which I read, did indicate that a final payment might be required. But they never mentioned how large that payment would be. I am 75 years old, living on Social Security. I have not paid them the $84 yet because I feel this was a "bait and switch" scheme. Will you help me get my $24 back as well as the release of the associated phone number??? I bought a cell phone from Walmart in the US, but it was network locked. With the help of my American friends, I found out about a company called Mobile Unlocked. After paying the first fee, they asked me to pay a second time to unlock the network, and during this process, they advertised that "just wait and they will send you a code and you can easily unlock the network." However, no matter how many times I entered the code, the network lock would not be released, and I found out that there was a technical problem and Mobile Unlocked could not resolve the issue. Despite this, they are refusing to give me a refund on the grounds that they lied to me about this and sent me a code.

My granddaughter needed her phone unlocked so I went online and found mobile unlocked, said it would cost 26 dollars, so I paid the money and over 24 hours later the phone said it was 40 percent and they wanted another 39 dollars. This is a scam do not trust this site. Her sister called the company that it was locked by and they unlocked it for free.
