This website uses pictures of puppies from other online posts that are actually owned by other people. They requested $650 for a purebred dachshund puppy.

I wanted t buy a miniature dachshund puppy and found what seemed like the perfect one on miniature Dachshund Home website. I contacted supposed breeder and made arrangements to go get the puppy the weekend in Maryland and sent the deposit. He gave me a supposed address for where he lived in Maryland. He contacted me on Wednesday to l me know he had a death in family and I needed to go get puppy that day. I couldn't go so he said he could ship the puppy and made arrangements with Multisafedelivery.com to ship her to me. (Another part of the scam) Everything seemed to check out ok so I sent remaining amount owed for the puppy. Several hours after this I received an email from multistafedelivery saying they needed $720 for pet insurance. Again, everything seemed to check out so I paid the insurance using my credit card. I got an email showing the itinerary of the puppy with a delivery due the next morning. When the puppy didn't arrive I called the shipping company and they gave a second delivery time due to puppy being sent through another state first ( no direct flight). That time came and went so I called them again. They lied and said they were trying to email me because the puppy needed a vaccination and I would need to pay another $300 for this. The puppy had supposedly been checked already before original departure and had shot records & health certificate. At that point I stop communicating and called the sheriff's department to file a complaint.
