Found a wonderful sweater on FB. Ordered the sweater at 70% off “Going Out of Business Sale” from family run & owned Millers of Washington. Website had pictures of the happy Miller Family wearing beautiful Icelandic sweaters on it.
A week later receiving tracking information. Sweater was coming from China! Not Washington.
Received “Sweater” a month later. IT WASN’T a SWEATER! It was a picture of the knitted loops of a Sweater on sweatshirt material. IF you could imagine?!? I’ve never seen anything like it!
Immediately requested “Free Refund & Return”. I was informed that now I was outside of their 30 day Return Policy.
IF I wanted to return the “Sweater/sweatshirt” I was going to have to pay for the shipping & Custom Fees that they informed me was more than the price I had already paid for the “Sweater/sweatshirt”.
So I saw it as a “[censored] Tax” for not doing due diligence on investigating Miller before I made the purchase. My daughter always told me to NEVER BUY anything off FB.
I then told them I would write a Bad Review on every Consumer Website I could find. So I did.
The next Morning my email & my text accounts were Doxxed! I had 30 emails in response to me asking to buy a Boat, RV, car, motorcycle, etc.
20 texts regarding my interests to purchase windows, siding, roofs & other home improvement. AND it continues! UGH!
But now I was Mad & the Doxxing pushed me over the top! So I reached out to my Credit Card Co & filed a formal complaint of Fraud.
Credit Card Co told me that it’s important that we inform them so that they can make formal complaint. Then they notify other CC Companies & let them know so that they don’t do business with Miller. YEAH!
I was reimbursed.

The web site says the business is closing "Winter closure sale". They say the sweaters are 100% wool. I ordered several and they are all 100% polyester and made in China. They do not look at all like the on-line sweaters. "Crafted from premium, sustainably sourced wool, this sweater is as soft as it is timeless." There is no wool in the sweaters. I complained and they gave me a discount instead of giving me my money back. They are still sending endless e-mails and on Facebook with their "wool" sweaters. This is a big scam.

I purchased 2 sweaters from this site, https://www.miller-washington.com/, that I had never heard of, but which presents itself as homey company closing its doors. I bought because of the deal, and because the refund pages intimates easy and full returns. Items arrived and a few days later I decided to return them. The site says to contact them at [email protected] to initiate a return. I did and the email bounced. I sent a reply email to the email from which my purchase receipt was sent and that bounced. I filled out a contact form from the site and got a reply. Then began a waste of time daily dance. Why did I want to return the items? I was asked to send photos of the size tags for the items. They offered an exchange. They said I would have to pay for shipping. Every day I received 1 reply. Endlessly circular. I warned them I would contact my credit card company to initiate a chargeback, and I have done so. This company is falsely presenting themselves as "The Miller Family" and the sweaters are made in China or polyester. My error to have bought from a company that I'd never heard of, but they are misrepresenting themselves and their return policy.

Product image is a knitted sweater but a nylon shirt is what you get. No return information and the email address doesn’t work.
