Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I put an ad out to sell my car and I got a message from this man stating that he was looking for this vehicle and that sight unseen he would overnight a cashiers check to me. They did but it was $5000.00 more than I asked for. I looked up on the internet the bank where this fake check was coming from to confirm the funds were available and NEVER call the number on the check. I faxed the information to the bank and they called and told me it was a fake cashiers check. The persons name on the cashier check was Dennis H *** and his message phone number was 205-737-0118. He wanted me to deposit the check right away. Thank goodness I did my due diligence and checked everything out prior. The check looks real but they are professionals at this and hurt a lot of people. Be Aware!!!!
