Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
All paperwork looked legit said lender could approve me for a loan in amount of 5000 but he was requesting that I have collateral deposit before he did had 3 options co signer 450 cash deposit or 1200 insurance I could purchase for loan amount. I chose option 2 the 450 cash deposit. Signed loan agreement faxed back to company with bank info for direct deposit of loan. After receiving my fax Melanie Hope contacted me back and said lender wanted deposit by western union sent sent cash in minutes.
Lender's name used was Christian Bell based out of Hamilton Ontario Canada. I thought that was alittle funny she reasured me the reason for being based out of Canada was she got me a 8 % rate and with me having low credit score that was best deal she could find me. So I went ahead and did it. Called her back with the 10 digit ticket code on western union to give to lender said she'd call back in 10 minutes when she had conformation that lender recieved the collateral payment.western union was wired at 4:13 she called back at 4:38 and said she had conformation and lender said funds will be recieved at around 6:30 no later than 7:00pm.
Well that never happened contacted western union and that wasn't even picked up till 6:16 pm. So Melanie Hope had no conformation at all when she contacted me at 4:38 pm saying she did. That transaction costed me 487.00. And another 200.00 in exspences trying to get my money back
