The women caller with Foreign accent called saying she's calling in regards to my computer from Microsoft, that someone is trying to hack into my computer. I say there is nothing wrong with my computer, you have called me twice and this is a Defense Company, I am going to report this call to the ScamPulse.com. Her reply was "go ahead and report me". Someone needs to stop her!

Left message that my computer had viruses and that they wanted to gain remote access to my hard drive to fix the problem. I called them back. They said they'd e-mail me and hung up.

The scammers called and said they worked for Microsoft and that my computer was under attack by scammers, who were trying to get personal information from my computer. The Indian speaking man claimed he worked for Microsoft and that I had nothing to worry about that he was going to fix everything all I had to do was give him permission to go into my computer so he could fix it to where they could not see any of my information!....... When I started to ask more questions he started to get perturbed! He wanted to know why I was asking so many questions. I was suspicious from the beginning of the conversation especially when he said his name was Harry........you can call me Mr. Potter!!! This is a shame that people have nothing else to do with their time but call trying to steal something that does not belong to them. These people need to be investigated. My sister received the same call but from a Texas number, claiming the same thing had happened to her computer and she doesn't have a working computer at this time so go figure.

While on our desktop computer at home a message came on the screen stating someone was trying to hack our computer and our banking information may be at risk. A phone number 1-877-315-7711 was given so that assistance could be given. Tried to "x" out of the screen but our computer was locked. Called the number given and person answered stating they were with Microsoft. Stated he needed access to my computer to clear the problem. I was making notes as he was talking to me. He requested I type "www.logmein123.com" so he could fix my problem. After a lengthy time he said my computer had been cleaned. Stated his company website is "365vserve.com". For this service I charged it to my credit card. (I am going to appeal this charged with my credit company) The next morning I called my bank and informed them my computer was possibly hacked. They requested the phone number I called. Bank later informed me it was a scam. Same day my daughter-in-law said it was possibly the same scam she had previously seen on the Today Show, happened to Natalie Morales. I watched the video clip and realized it was exactly the same scan.

2-3 years ago I got a call from Microsoft saying there were some problems on my computer that needed to be fixed. I signed on and gave them all of the information they needed and they supposedly went through and fixed my problems and then told me that I owed $598 and that would cover my computer for one year. I gave up the money and could not tell that they had done anything. Last year I started getting phone calls from them again saying they had gotten into trouble and needed to refund me my $598 plus $150 for the inconvenience but they needed to get into my computer again in order to get my money back to me. I said no and hung up. Since then I have been receiving 1-6 calls per day that I just do not answer but yesterday I accidentally answered the phone and Jason with Microsoft said they have to get the money back to me. He said they would send it through PayPal and I would need to go to WalMart to pick it up. He said they were sending $3980 but I needed to first send them $3232. He asked for the name of my bank and my banking information. I gave him the name of the bank but no other information and decided it was a scam and told them no and hung up. I tried to get onto my computer and it was fried. I called him back and he said as soon as I sent the $3232, they would fix my computer. I checked with WalMart to see if it was real and they said there was no way they could handle a transaction that big and it was not real.

A man with a heavy accent called me up and said that my computer had been compromised and was sending out alerts so then needed to help me fix it. I told him that I don't have a computer and I knew it was a scam and he hung up.

On June 11, 2016 at 6:00 PM I was on my computer and there was a "pop-up" that stated I had a serious virus condition and I should call (?) but I cannot remember the original no. The last no. I called was 855-937-4657 and I spoke w/Jerry Smith from Microsoft (he had a foreign accent). Jerry said if I turned off the computer everthing would be lost. He scanned my computer and "foreign access" - 4 entries showed up. I was told someone would fix it and he called someone else. Another person came on the phone (he also had a foreign accent) and he said he could fix my computer; it was urgent; but they could fix it right away. First, he asked for my bank acct. no. but I refused. Then he asked for my credit card no. and I gave it to him but the bank rejected it 4 times. I was told in order to proceed I should contact the bank right way to authorize the charge of $249.99 so I called the bank. He then gave me names of 2 companies that were local - the last one was Cyber Secure. They called Tech Help Expert at 855-937-4657 and told them to go ahead and fix my computer (order no. 2222708). Later, I called Tech Help Expert and spoke to Roger and told him to cancel the order and refund my $249.99. Roger insisted I called him to authorize the repairs but I told him I did not; He just hung up on me.

Called me several times around 8:00 pm.

Wants to fix my computer,

He said he works for Microsoft.

I did not trust him.

I have no problem with my computer.

is there a way to stop these calls?

"Leo" from Microsoft was running a routine check on my computer and wanted me to log onto their website so he could fix it. Probably would ask for my credit card number but I hung up before he had the chance. I called the number back, but naturally it rang busy.

A person claiming to be from Microsoft stating my computer had spyware or an illegal

download from a website. Claimed to be Mr Jackmekoff. After I told him that I don't not own a computer he asked me to have sexual relations with his wife.

A popup and the website http://examnumber.com/101/4-0069ee7cab5c6b2a8a7341b73dff8f5/?ptfn=888-352-1512&a...⇄ said that they were from Microsoft, and that our business computer system had been compromised. Then prompted us to call Microsoft at 8883521512 to fix the issue.

I downloaded online microsoft software onto my laptop about 2 years ago. They were able to contact my computer (I gave them the info they needed) but the product they promised (Microsoft Word) was never downloaded onto my computer. Instead a different program was downloaded that allowed the access to my camera and I don't know what other info.

I have had to download Norton and other secure info just lately for college and was able to update and delete their "Microsoft" program just a few days ago.

I received a call today May 23, 2016 from them. They did not mention their company's name. The man had a thick accent and went by a name "John" something. I told them I had researched their company and that I'd found them to be fraudulent. Furthermore, I then asked whether or not they were fraudulent. They hung up after that question.

Here is their number that showed up on my caller ID: 1-949-009-0301.

I received 2 phone calls today from: 310 659-0786 and from 953 232-4956. Each call was from a man with an accent, perhaps Indian, who stated he was a technician from Microsoft and wanted to follow up with a problem on my computer and wanted me to open my computer. I did not do so, but I assume he is attempting fraud and has ransomware. I hope other senior citizens do not fall for this. Thank you.

On 05-02-16 I received a call from Microsoft wanting to fix my computer. I do not own a computer. The number they called me on is 859-846-5238.

They have called me multiple times claiming to be from Microsoft Technical Support. The first time he used a name that was not mine so I said he had the wrong number and he said Sorry and ended the call. The last two times I said I told you you called the wrong number and he just hung up in my face. He has a foreign accent, possibly from India? I tried to return the call and the number claims it is disconnected but I called it back seconds after he hung up on me. I Googled the number and it brings up several scam alerts from other people recently contacted by them. They will claim to fix a problem with a computer with a Microsoft program but instead cause you to download a virus where they can steal your information and possibly ask for ransom for some info.

Microsoft called me, saying my computer needed fixing. I gave them remote control of my computer. They asked $169 for the repairs plus $15/montly for a "warranty plan". I gave them my credit card number. Fortunately, I was able to reverse the charges and get a new credit card. But I suspect they downloaded malicious malware into my computer!

A foreign person called the consumer and told her they are from Micorsoft. He told her that her computer had a virus. He instructed her to go to her computer and turn it on so he could help her. She didn't do it. The caller eventually hung up because the consumer wouldn't cooperate with his scam. She told him to mail her something and she'd have her attorney review it. The scammer was calling from a NY phone number (718) 238-2428.

I got a call (250-383-6894) from a man telling me "there is something wrong with your computer." I replied I didn't own a computer. He insisted I owned a laptop. I replied No, I don't own ANY kind of computing equipment. He kept insisting that I did. I hung up.
