In the past i have applied not knowing or doing my own research about the company. Today's i learned they steal your information and do whatever they do with it. My MIL had revived a call about me applying for a loan (the first name they got right and my last name was different) I had not applied for a loan for over 5 months at all. I have reported this information to the 2 major credit bureaus. Hopefully they don't scam anyone else. Please remember to always do lots of research with company's online as you never know.
