Today I received a message on Instagram saying I was picked to win 30,000 he ask for my name, phone number, address and age. I gave him the info but I had a feeling it was a scam. I figured what could it hurt to give him the info being I have nothing. Once he had my info he said I would receive a code from FedEx that I would have to send to him. So I thought it was odd so I started looking online about this and I found out I was right it was a scam. I asked him why would I receive a code because if you were sending me something from FedEx you would just mail it to me. He replied to just trust him. I told him I know this is a scam and you will want me to send you money next. He replied well you will need to pay the shipping fee. So I replied why do you need me to send you money you won the lottery remember! His name on Instagram is Michael weirdly and don't believe his lies. Now I need to figure out how to report him.

8/24/2021 I just received a text message & before giving him any information I did a quick search & am going to forward ALL his text messages to the F.B.I. Cyber crimes division.

His reached out on my new public Instagram account and has 2 testimonial videos of random women thanking him. I told him you should stop scamming people, I am reporting this account and I work for Instagram. His messages stopped immediately. This instagram account is @mikeweirsky20789. So ridiculous!

Mike Weirsky contacted me on Instagram saying I'm going to get $50,000! As a result, I spent quite a bit of money on gift cards. Also, he asked for my usernames and passwords for my Instagram accounts. I've been fighting tooth and nail to get back my Instagram accounts.
Since you work for Instagram, is there anyway of me getting back my two Instagram accounts?

Ask for money to send winnings then something happened needed more money. Every time you turn around something happens and needs more money. Says he is out somewhere else on business and accounts are frozen. He will ask you send a certain amount of money something will happen and need more money to fix that and it will keep going on like that. So do not trust these scammers

I have also been in this situation, I on Instagram, by the name of @jweirskyjmichaeljl add me on ig and i proceeded to do the same. he messages me the next day and told me i was one of their lucky winners. he then asks for my number, which i gave him. and his “attendant”, Karly W Anderson messages me with what looks like a Identification card of her name and address, which i thought was quite believable, however anyone can make a fake ID. i decided to keep going with it, however i stopped messaging this individual when she asked for my email, bitcoin info and multiple screenshots. so i already knew it was a scam.

I was Scammed on Twitter believing that I won $18,000 from Michael Weirsky. This is ongoing and they kept sending me Twitter messages and text messages from his supposed agent. They kept telling me that the money was tied up in customs and that I needed to send them some. I sent cash through a Bitcoin machine after they sent a barcode. They kept saying that it was on the way but needed more money. I’m a disabled widow and believed them sending $1010 in Bitcoin dollars . Now they’re saying that they’re delivering my check but have had car issues and want me to pay another $600 . They’re currently sending these messages today and always have someone else that requires my money. I don’t know what to do or who to call right now.

Says that your name has been picked by MW Megabucks lottery winner to receive $50,000. In order to receive, watch you tube video and identify his winning numbers from his ticket and text those numbers to an individual who will be sending you the money. This is a scam because I looked into it by researching phone numbers and other information and did not respond.
