New Scam Alert

Received a call from San Diego (619) 362-8055,which is a local call for me. Like one of the previous complaints, the person was foreign and left a message about documents being prepared. They left a number, 877-870-8367. I did not call, did a Google search and figured out quickly that it was a scam. I also looked the number up on Whitepages.com and it's being reported as scam. Do not call or give out any personal info.

Threatening calls from 504-230-8268 about family member file

Received a call from 504-230-8268 in Metairie, LA. Foreigner left a voicemail. Never mentioned company name. Stated documents are being prepared for a file related to a family member and that I and 2 other family members are listed as secondary contacts. They left another phone number to call back. Called that number and spoke to someone that was clearly American, perfect English. I said that I and another family membered needed to be removed from the list and was told they cannot until they talk to another family member. Threatened that I would be sued and have to go to court if I ignored future attempts. The person I spoke to was extremely rude to me. Had I not been in my office the conversation would have gone in a whole other direction.

Voicemail with account number led to scam

This business left a voicemail with an account number to call 877-870-8367. I called them back and gave them my bank information. My bank told me that this was a scam and they could not close my account. I wanted to report this to ScamPulse.com to warn others.
