I receive many spam calls although many get blocked, but one came through and they left a voicemail for me. I received multiple calls from different numbers. They claimed to be a mediation company, called GR Services, then later said "Global Recovery Services". They stated I owe $1,400 for a loan I took out, but the loan amount was $1,000. I repeatedly asked for proof and all they would say is that it was through Advance America, Cash America Advance, and there was multiple company names it could be under. They knew my name, a previous address, and the name of my bank which was really concerning. They said "we have a delinquent account for your name and social." I asked for written proof and they said that they are not collections, they are a mediation company. They said a collections company had attempted to mail notices to me and email me notices. They kept persisting that I pay so that legal action would not be taken.
