I was about to fall asleep when I get a text from a person claiming to be Mr weirsky. I had a feeling it was a scam so I played along for a bit before I decided to dig into who this man was and try to find out who he REALLY is. I found out that he’s from Ohio and has costed people over 10k in money via scammer way ( oh to get this money you must pay me 100+$)

I had this charity program profile follow me via Instagram. It mentioned that it was run by mike weirsky . the account would give out $80,000.00 to the first thousand followers. This is the first time I have seen this scam try to guise itself as a charity program.
Posing as a charity program

I WAS ADVISED I won 500,000 due to Mr.M.Weirsky generousty since he won in lotto. Advised to contact agent "Dale Larry" . Well this agent wanted $100 first,, then I would receive monies. I requested cash, since I was a victim of compriised "cashier checks", "money orders", insufficient cks.etc. so I said money/cash. If he wanted a fee I would double it once I received cash. Nope needed $100. etc. Monies would be nice even a few thousand, but even though I did not bite and send,, how many others are there. Perhaps this Dale Larry not connected with Mr. Weirsky?
One other item, this Dale had pictures of people holding a sign that they received their monies thanking Mr. Weiirsky. Sorry, no pictures, but I would not lie over items like this. More warn others of scams.

Michael found me again for a second time on 4 November 2022, after I blocked him on 26 October. He claimed his company need to access MyGov account for Australian Citizens and could I help. He vaguely told me that everything had to go through the Australian Taxation Office. I unfortunately allowed him access. Since then he also asked me to open a bank account in my name. He said the the company would pay into it a certain amount which I would have to transfer to his account. It has been so long winded.I did suggest that the news of hackers and scammers bothered me greatly, but he sweet talked his way through that for a few days.
A week or so ago he asked if I could access my superannuation account (compulsory saving for Australian workers) and give $3000 for a payment for an apartment he was purchasing on the Gold Coast. That threw up a load of red flags.so tonight I have changed all my passwords. He is such a sweet talker. Be aware very aware. I’m glad the bank account I opened has nothing in it yet.
Thank you for your time.

He was messaging me over instagram with messenger, and he was very pushy and would not facetime me, and got insulted when I questioned him and said he was working with the FBI and that he would never scam people and that all I had to do was sign a form, and so I said go ahead and send it to me and I would review and check into paying taxes on gifts. He said why do that? Don't you trust me? I swear I am not taking advantage of warm hearted people who still trust in this social media platform. He would not accept my call. And he said I insulted him. The scam is that he won 273 million in the mega million jackpot and wants to give it away freely. He sends a picture of a creepy looking older white guy with a Yankees baseball shirt on, sitting in front of a big fake check from megamillions.

He just dropped a message on my personal phone saying the same thing
That he was a lottery winner and wanted to share it but then gave a number to another person to text so I did it but then the other guy started asking for all of that information
After asking me for personal information while I was talking to him I copied and pasted his name in Google and scrolled and the 3rd thing that popped up was duds name and scam next to it so I read some of them and its exactly what was going on with me so I let him know that I was taking screen shots of the conversation and I would report both him and the other guy

This so called Michael Weirsky reached out to me on instagram saying that I had miraculously been selected to win 30k. He then goes on to ask personal information; name, phone number and adress. That is where I grew suspicous of the offer. I googled his name and, boom, hundreds of other people complaining about him scamming them on Insta and Facebook. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!
Instagram Scam... Almost fell for it.

Same thing happened to me he messaged me out of no where asking did I receive my money and I was thinking it was a scam at first then my stupid brain decided to do what he said now I can’t even get in contact with him and I’m a little over 500 dollars short

This is our conversation

He messaged me as well but only asked if I had a pay app such as cash app or PayPal or venmo then said all I have to do is get a $100 steam card and he would send me my share of $10,000

When you confront him on showing his face on a live call. He immediately says he can't for security reasons. I knew I would find scam alerts on him. Sadly he caught a lot of people down on there luck. That's what makes him tick. Whether the guy is the real Weirsky or not, this guy has to be stopped. Sooner than later. He is doing lots of harm to good honest people. All of the numbers he uses are USA numbers. So i would tend to think he's in the USA. It is much easier for USA based individual to do the reporting, better yet the more the better to get the attention needed to put a stop to this. I urge some one in the US to report him to the police. Although all the money he took from honest people will never be returned. A good jail sentence is well earned for him.

He got me for $8k 2 weeks ago, I have reported him to my local police and on ic3.gov and to ig and cash app! He is still messaging me daily and his “act manager” is a single mom of 2 and he left me with nothing! And no bank or gift card company will refund me!

Count me in…I lost $100 using a Visa card this very week. I caught on quickly, but still very angry at this guy who is obviously still scamming people on Instagram. He needs to be reported to authorities. I blocked him on INSTAGRAM. HE GOES BY A BUNCH OF NAMES AND EMAIL ADDRESSES. WONDER IF INSTAGRAM COuld somehow report his scams to authorities? I learned a valuable lesson, that’s for sure!

Going to just give me 50k. It just doesn't happen and it's ridiculous to think it might. This scammer is using the same information reference, batch, ticket and serial numbers.

Sent me a text telling me I was one of 20 lucky winners, he is giving away $200,000 to 20 people and I was one of them, but I couldn’t tell anyone else about it. Gave me a number to text and give them mailing address, asked me how I wanted money in check or cash, later told me could only get check and asked me how wanted it sent to me and I said by US mail, then said I could only get it by Premium Express, Special Express or Economy Express starting at $450 to $300

So I was chilling in my room playing some call of duty around 1:30pm when I received a text from "Mr Michael Weirsky" saying that I was one out of 250 people to win $50,000 and to message his agent named "Alan Walden" about the winnings, so I do exactly that already skeptical about a scam. Alan then texts me back saying "Hi, I’m Alan Walden. I’m in charge of your winning.! Should anyone ask you to send he/she money to verify your claim, do not respond! You are not to send any form of money to anyone to claim your winnings. Now let’s begin, Kindly confirm for me your full name so we can run it through in the winning list. Thanks.

Alan Walden
Official Agent For Michael Weirsky’s Donation." This looked pretty official but I wanted to do more research, I found that there was a guy named Michael Weirsky that did win the mega millions and congratulations to him but I also found this website that said there was scams surrounding his winnings and here I am. Please don't fall for this type of scam y'all

So I was minding my own business during my day, dealing with what all adults deal with on daily when I receive a random group text message. Like any other person I opened it to see what was going on only to see that myself and two others won money! You bet I was excited (not). First thing I did was Google to see if this "Micheal" won and found out he did, well congratulations to the real Micheal Weirsky.
After seeing that I then looked to see if there was anything about scams on this, that's when I found this page and thought I'd share they fact that they're sending text messages.
Never open links from people you don't know and if it is someone you do know make sure to ask questions only that person would know, hopefully this helps others out.
