a giant scam, they say everything you want to hear and try to trick you into signing up for their credit card processing system .. They're just another 3rd part hack even though they claim they're not.

If you are having trouble with your account please contact the corporate office. If you just received a call and you are not with us. I highly recommend you go through the entire verification before you assume we are a giant scam. Hopefully we will be able to eliminate all the mark-up your agent has built into your account. We know they will jump through hoops to keep getting that mark-up.

This company is FRAUD! They call saying they're with your current credit card processor and that they're the main processor. They ask you several questions about chargebacks, how much volume you run, etc. and then tell you you are low-risk for a long period of time so you qualify for lower rates and costs! They say they'll cut out the reseller and sell you at cost. Then they tell you it won't take very long, all you have to do is send your statement, they'll send it to their senior analyst, give "two thumbs up" and send you the paper work to save money. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!

We would never say we are with your third party processor. Although we love all of our resellers, there comes a time when business owners deserve something better. That's what we offer. The same exact service minus all the extra markup charged by third parties. We've never looked at giving a thumbs up and saving business owners a lot of money on their processing fees as fraudulent, and every merchant account comes with paperwork.

Nothing that Merchant Associates said is a lie. They are a part of the main network for credit card processing and they will eliminate all the extra mark up your existing third party has built into the account. Your third party is lying to you, so they don't lose their mark-up on the account.

Even if they do end up saving you money, the fact that they lie up front like that is worrisome. I just checked through my current processor and caught them in that lie as well. They are not the "main processor" for our current account. It's not a good way to start a business relationship. In fact, that lie is what will prevent us from using them.

Did you complete the risk verification and see for yourself or are you just assuming that you wouldn't see savings. If you aren't seeing savings for whatever reason, give us a call at the corporate number. Hope to resolve your issue.
