It is a bogus text message saying you have been randomly chosen to receive some of his lottery winnings. And to claim this money you must text your full name to his “agent” David at this fake number. It is a way for them to get your information (phishing) to scam you! Report the number & delete!

I received text messages from a Manuel Franco and Ronald Schwartz saying I was chosen to receive $500,000 from his lottery winnings. I'm having a lot of financial problems so I texted back, but they wanted me to send personal info.

I received a text from 808-498-2058 stating Mr. Manuel Franco who won the in 2019 has won the latest billion dollar mega million and would like to send me $50,000 by randomly choosing my cell number via spin ball. All I have to do is send my personal address, FULL name, sex, age and this claim number sent to me. Why wasn't I selected in 2019?

Scammer claims to be Manuel Franco, winner of $768 million power ball. Says he’s randomly chosen 200 people to give $2400-$20000. Gives a winning ticket number containing thirteen numbers and letters. Then it states that a person named Brian Koehler will contact via text also from the number +1(971)266-3588 to confirm and deliver your prize. We received the text from that number before the one from the so called powerball winner, so it confused my partner and asked for his full name and address. Then asked if he was ready to verify his identity and give the winning ticket number to claim the prize. That’s where I made him stop communicating. But they still got his full name and address.
