Deceptive Return Policy

Lucky Bop's website was deceptive in their return policy. I ordered 3 swim suits thinking I could return the ones that don't fit. According to their website, this would not be a problem. When I contacted them about the return of 2 of the suits, I was informed that they do not cover shipping and they needed to be sent to China. I mailed them back to the address given to me, following exact instructions, even though this was expensive shipping, which I also lost. I was then told that the items got lost in Customs and I would not be receiving a refund. I was shocked and felt deceived and lied to. They owe me $50.00. I would never order from them again and would advise anyone I know to avoid this company as well.

I ordered a size large, burnt red swim suit from Lucky Bop. The bathing suit was bright red and three times the size of a normal large. No big deal I thought, I'll just return it. When I contacted Lucky Bop I was offered a discount as it would cost too much to return one item. When I kindly said no i wanted to return it I was given a return address in China which according to my local package store would cost $100 or more. The gentleman at the package store stated this was a regular occurrence these days. This feels like a scam and if nothing else I hope this complaint ends up somewhere that makes someone think twice about ordering from Lucky Bop. Below is the first and second email I received from them in reference to the return. I also included the return address that was on the package I received.

Sure, we accept the return for you. But the return will waste more time and money than buy a new one, if there is only one item to return.

You can keep or resell the one you don't like, then buy a new one with less spending.

However, if you are more prefer to the exchange address, please let me know and I will offer it for you."
