Type of a scam: Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Fraud sale

Order an umbrella from them and cannot get any information My mother in law paid for this with her CC on Aug. 9, 2025 and we received a bill of sale and a shipping number but no more information. We thought we were on the Wayfair website only we learned from them it was not there site. I am going to forward all the email to you for your review

I was scrolling through Pinterest and came across a pin advertising a warehouse sale from Anthropologie. The typical advertisement of the warehouse being overstocked and a flash sale happening for a 72 hour period. Everything on the site looked legit, from the lay-out, clothing/accessories, to even the payment processing details. After scrolling through and finalizing my order, I received an order number and was told that an e-mail would be sent, as all other online websites do. I waited for my e-mail, which generally shows up right away after purchasing, but when I realized it had been over thirty (30) minutes without receipt, I started to dig. I checked my spam box and had a few e-mails from the company but the senders e-mail was the type you can tell is bogus. One of the e-mails even stated that I "transferred" the amount charged to the company. I checked my bank account and the transaction is listed as SILKQS* SILKQS. I am currently awaiting a return phone call from my bank to get the charge disputed and/or find a way forward.
