AT&T FRAUDLENT "LOOK-A-LIKE" SELLER OF APPLE IPHONES AND IPADS
As an example:
they (somehow) learn that you have made a call to the “real” AT&T and inquired about the senior 55+ plan. They then call you back (from 571-29-8988, or 708-550-3318, or 816-834-9982, fax 816-435-5713) the next day posing as the ligament salesperson and offer to upgrade you to iPhones/iPads (either/or both) for only the sales taxes on a "zero interest 36-month contract. They send you the iPhone/iPad (I ordered two iPhones and two iPads, but only got one iPad) via ups. Then they email (providing an UPS return label). You then ups (at their expense) . Then the iPhones/iPads must be returned to their warehouse at 501 Tamara cir, Newark de, 19711-6932 for upgrades to the software. You will never see them again!
I have ([email protected]) them an email demand letter, and also have sent in a “it's a scam report” to the San Diego police and the FBI fraud division, as well as the AT&T fraud department. I am out the “sales tax money” for two iPads and two iPhones in the amount of $372.00 that was charged to my citi card. Citi cards has ruled that the sales charges are a ligament AT&T charge (although they were charge by the look-a-like AT&T). So now my fight is with the AT&T billing and accounting department.
I am 87 years old, retired, and I have most all of my marbles, play singles tennis three days a week and still ski the easy slopes at Tahoe's heavenly valley. I handle my own investments and do my taxes on turbotax. And still got scammed!
