Loungefly scam

Too good to be true. Didn't notice that the official funko logo was missing from the page. Only realized an issue when the receipt popped up under a weird name.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered from them in May. They were having some kind of sale. I thought I would treat myself for Mother's Day. I kept track of the shipping and they said it would be here this last Saturday. Ups sent a message saying it was delivered but I had no package. I checked the delivery notice said it was delivered to somewhere a thousand miles away from me. So I checked the receipt thinking maybe I mistakenly made an error. Nope my address is right. I've tried emailing them but they won't even respond. It says they won't accept my email or something like that. These people suck so bad. I lost $56.30. I know it doesn't seem that much but it is to me.

Saw an ad on Facebook clicked it to go to the website and it seemed legit. I made a purchase and then recieved a sketchy email saying my order had been paid and a few days later saying it had shipped. When I went to look at the tracking it said there wasn't a record of it. I kept going to the help website and sending request. They only responded to my first message but nothing after that. They have since closed the website and the help website has now too.

Think I've been scammed

Found a link on Facebook for loungefly so clicked on it and made a purchase, spent $36 on a mini back pack and a wallet in there massive sale, paid $9 delivery and they said it would take 2 weeks for my items to arrive I've been tracking it and its been all over the world and its been to my home town lots of times then back somewhere else so I emailed them to say I'm not happy and want to know where my order is and when it will arrive and they sent me the same email with the tracking information, a few days later I emailed again and they sent me the same email, I looked yesterday at the tracking and it says its been delivered but it hasn't and we can't find it anywhere, ive emailed them again and no reply at the moment, I only have the 1 email, I can't find a website with the name loungeflysuk and can't get hold of anyone not sure what else to do now, I don't have alot of money and I'm new to buying lounge fly bags and was really excited to get a new bag and wallet, I know loungfly sometimes have a sale so thought this was a real website and a real deal looked legit but after looking at other story's and reviews I'm starting to think ill never get them.

I found this seller through a link from social media. It appeared legit and had some great deals, so I purchased one of their mini-backpacks. I have heard NOTHING from them since I made the purchase in April.

Scam website--looks legit but don't be fooled!!!

I followed a link on Facebook for an online sale and was thrilled to find some great items. The website looked legitimate, but now it seems it clearly was a complex fake. I never got a confirmation email nor did I get a tracking number, however I was able to get a screenshot of my purchase. Thank God I did because it made working things out with PayPal a lot easier.

It took me a while to figure out which order was the one that was the bad egg (on PayPal) because the scammer changed the total amount by 50 cents and also altered the date on the purchase (e.g. the date on the "receipt" page was for 2/25/22 but the screenshot I took was on 3/31/22. Little things like that made it harder to identify the scammer. PayPal did cover me for this $99 misadventure.

The email that PayPal sent the $ to was [email protected] and the PayPal user was *HANGKIKIZHA or Hang Kiki Zhao

I almost got scammed, something did not seen right after when i clicked on click payment i seen Asian writing and it offered PayPal as an option to pay since no large retailer uses PayPal. Now look at this how can i have an order number when i never finalized an order? I clicked off before i ever entered my payment info, plus just read it. I order online a lot this never happens. I am starting to think the fact we all have Paypal accts isn't a coincidence. There is some connection.

I purchased two wallets two backpacks and a blouse for the price of one backpack. 73.24 . I should have known but they said they were authorized as a discount shop and had a PayPal account. I filed a complaint with PayPal but they agreed in favor with the seller because the seller sent them a tracking number. I never received communication from them, so I checked the tracking number with fed ex. Fed ex said the location didn’t match my address I was trying to enter. They couldn’t provide me with documentation however and had terrible customer service. Basically told me to get over it. So I filed a complaint with them then I called PayPal customer service and re-opened my case . The guy who helped me was amazing. I got the case in my favor after explaining and am being issued a refund. He said they link an actual tracking number to the same city, but PayPal doesn’t verify it.

I was on Facebook when an ad popped up and said loungefly was having a sale on their website so I clicked the link and bought a bag, wallet, and keychain. Spent about $60 including vip shipping. I then got an email for my confirmation, and noticed the email it came from seemed weird so I contacted loungefly customer support team and they confirmed the website I bought off of was not theirs. I later received a PayPal request for $7 for shipping and knew at that point it was a scam. I tried to dispute the charge on PayPal but for some reason it’s not longer on my pay pal but the money is still definitely gone

They were advertised in Facebook as Loungefly having a Disney clearance event. Made a purchase after thinking these are amazing prices and then I realized it was a scam. There’s no way to contact the business at all. The about us section refers to their self as “online store”. I was able to use PayPal and the sellers information is in Japanese. It’s been almost a week and still no contact from the seller on PayPal either.

This website is posing as if it were the legitimate website, Loungefly. I was browsing on the Facebook social media platform when I came across a sponsored ad for a "loungefly" outlet store closing clearance. The ad said it was "Due to the COVID-19 emergency..." that this was happening. I followed the link which took me to their shopping page within facebook, I saw that most of their products were loungefly licensed products but were being sold for up to 75% off, which seemed suspicious. To add to that, their shipping was free, which seemed unreal. Their contact us page had odd hours of service stating: Monday to Saturday Us time :21.00-6.00, Australian time :11.00-20:00, UK time: 2.00-11:00. It never specified where they ship from nor where they are located. Their "About Us" section also had a lot of grammar errors which made me suspicious as to their legitimacy. I then proceeded to actually look at their social media page, which contained 70 followers, had only about 5 posts all related to their product sales, and found no comments to those posts. I decided to not order from the site since the domain age is only 5 days old according to the website https://whois.domaintools.com/. After this my facebook feed kept showing similar advertisements but with different user names, when I clicked on the "shop now" link it took me to a page that resembled the 1st page I accessed but the link was different https://www.loungeflydisney.shop/ but this one said the registrant country was the US as opposed to China.

While it all does seem too good to be true and probably a scam, their hours of service isn't weird. It does say 21:00-6:00 but 21:00 (9pm EST) is 10 am in china where this business is supposed to be located.
