A friend messaged me about winning $90000. From a government grant and she told me to contact them. I only did because I new her from church. I desperately need money to help my family. She gave me the contact address and I messaged her.

And I had to pay $2000 for the release of the money &Fed X. Almost every gift card was compromised. I had to keep getting gift cards to replace all the compromised previous cards. Something was always going wrong. By the time she told me FedX was on the way she messaged me that the IRS stopped them on the highway and said I’d have to pay another $1800 in taxes. Grants are not taxed. I never contacted her again. I’m including a picture of her Facebook

I received a text message and this is what it said

Your phone number was randomly picked as one of the lucky winners who are getting $100,000.00 from my giveaway program that’s going on your winnings code HD50 To claim your winnings kindly text my agent ******* ***** ** ******* *********

After googling it I seen this is a popular scam a few years ago so I guess it’s starting back up

They sent a text saying they were ***** *** ****** ******* and wanted to bless me 15,000 dollars because they won the lottery and were helping people out. I knew it was a scam but I acted like believed them and that is when they told me to go to a dollar store and get a vanilla card and put $100 minimum on it so they could send me money.

I Received a text message claiming to be the couple Tammy and Cliff Webster, the powerball lottery winners from WI. It states they are giving away $100,000 if I call Frank Smith. I did not go any further than opening the text message. Did a quick Google search to realize it is indeed a known scam.

I received a phishing text. Verizon is AWFUL about scams via text or phone calls; I swear they’re selling my phone number themselves. Anyway, this was a lottery phishing scam you’re probably familiar with. It came from the number I entered in the form. They texted my number, and the two numbers ‘before’ mine (mine ends in 0300, and they also texted (as a group!) 0298, and 0299). Text of the message is in the screenshot. I did not respond to the message or click any of the links, so no real chance for them to try and get my info or money
