On February 28, 2018 I was online looking for ways to find funding to pay off my current credit card debt as well as other bills that I have. After reading up on the company and the site looked good (including the company bio that they have on their site) and I took a chance and applied for the loan in the amount of $12,000.00

I was then contacted my a man named Shaun phoned me to follow up with the information that I entered into the online application and said that he was comfortable with a loan up to $20,000.00 and it was up to me with what amount I would like to receive. I decided on $15,000 to pay off all my debts and be completely free. I was asked to verify my disposable income to confirm that I would have no problems paying off my loan in the event that something where to happen. I was then emailed a copy of what the loan break down would be including the write up on the company and who they are on the back page

Shaun asked that I go to either a Rexall, Shoppers Drug Mart or Walmart to purchase a Steam Card in the amount of $700.00. Once this voucher he called them was verified, the funds would be refunded to me along with the loan funds deposited into my account within hour of the finance department contacting me. I was then contacted my James Quinn (ext # 715) and he then told me that I needed to cover the fees associated with the funds being transferred from their head office bank in California, the moderator bank and my own. He told me that I would need to purchase another $427 in Steam cards and then the funds would be deposited into my account. Until such time the funds would be placed on hold. He sent me another copy of the loan contract and why I was being asked to provide these funds. However, as I have current loans with my bank, I started to feel like something was very wrong as I have never been asked to pay upfront for those ever.

At that time my emails and phone calls stopped being returned and now I am out the $700.00

BEWARE.... Loan Fast Canada is a scam company and never ever trust them

I applied online with Fast Capital Loan and got a call the next day from a guy named James from Loans Fast Canada. He said I was approved for a loan. After verifying my details, including address, name, SIN and email address, he told me that the loan with their company range from $3,000 to $35,000. Asked me how much I would like to borrow, I said $10,000. He asked how much was I willing to pay per month. I said $300. He then gave me a list of payment options and I chose the one of $250/month for 60 months. He said everything looks good, confirmed my banking information. James then told me that my credit was low and that this loan is a Bad Credit Unsecured Loan, and I would need to verify disposable income. Got me to confirm over the phone if I had 10% in my account, I said I do. He then asked me to go to my nearest Walmart and call him back and he would walk me through verification voucher process. After which I started thinking and told him I did need the money but was not willing to do the voucher. After calling him back, I told him that I wanted to cancel my loan application, he said no problem. I then proceeded to tell him that I know its a scam because I looked the company up on the BBB and saw that they were and that I am reporting my encounter, he said "Ok, bye bye" and hung up the phone. Also note that each time I tried calling number, it would first be disconnected(which should have been my first clue) then the second time it would ring.
