Job scam involving fake electric charging station maintenance
They explained the job as 'maintaining electric charging stations' but never once said I had to put in money to make money. The first 5 days were fine but on the 6th day I started encountering 'faulty stations' and in order to fix them you have to deposit money into Cash App and buy bitcoins in order to fix them. It seemed fishy but I did it and then the price just kept going up. I finally said no more and told them I couldn't finish. They are pressuring me to keep going and that I need to deposit the additional $9700 to fix the remaining station. There is no way I am going to do that.
