I have also received the exact same notice. For $200 to be sent in. I search the web for something official and, instead I found the name of the LLC in so many different States. None of which match my address. Then I came across this report after typing the end address. That's another thing that struck me as strange. If this is a state compliance, why is it being sent to Florida? Beware folks. If your unsure about something that claims you owe money, do your research.

I also received a letter with QR Codes and Record ID # requesting to pay by Mar 15 2023 (40+85=$125.00 ). I checked with LegalZoom since they are my LLC Agent and they said California Annual Report Compliance is due every 2 years and that is not from LegalZoom and I have already paid mine last year so not due until 2024. I then checked the envelope Those Scammers mailed it to me and states Electronic Service Requested Nongovernment Agency... So definitely a Scam from Company FCS PO BOX 924328 Princeton FL 33092-9800

We have a small fishing business with two LLC's associated with it. We have recieved letters address to both LLC's within a week of each other. Each letter looked official asking us for $200 ($115 state fee plus $85 processing fee) to pay for the LLC's state permits. Payable by check or money order.

The letter looked official with two QR Codes and a contact email, or web address. I'm not sure which. The body of the letter was faded, said a lot, but then really didn't say anything specific of what it was for or to what state agency.

It had a respond by date of 1/19/2023, which was only a few days from when I received the letters. They also came with a self addressed and postage free envelope to use to send the check or money order back with.

I have not nor will I respond to either letter. I just wanted to bring this to your attention. I can supply a copy of the letter and envelopes if you need.
