said they had a work from home job, said i was a good fit, asked for

DL, email, phone, and name. emailed me a fake check and told me to send to vendor for software installation on work equipment. seemed weird so i called my bank and told them to put a hold because I think it is scam at this point. they called back said the check was a hot check and that these people were just trying to steal money from me.
