250 year anniversary decanter fraud in china.

- Bethany, OK, USA • Mar 09, 2026

I saw online commemorative 250th anniversary whisky bottles on Libiyi.com that were nice glass bottles with a brass Liberty bell top, for 25.00 each if you purchased 4. I received them four weeks after the order and they were small plastic bottles with a sticker on the front resembling the online picture. I was just shocked at what they sent, it is an incredible scam taking advantage of our country’s 250th anniversary. I texted them and they said it could return them for an 80.00 shipping fee and handling and could get a 10.00 refund.

I ordered 2 bottles for the 250 anniversary of the United States of America from Libiyi.com and paid $94.97 dollar. They sent me 2 bottles totally different than the other one they showed.

Items received from Libiyi.com we're not representative of their Facebook listing site. What I received cost over $110 (total money lost: $110.00) valued probably about $2. When I contacted both their customer service line telephone (833) 493-2323 and email support ([email protected]) I was told I had to send both items back to China where came from, which would cost more in shipping than what I paid for! This seems to me to be a big scam site and the only thing they will do for my troubles is compensate me $8.

I ordered a crystal hummingbird or at least it looked like a crystal hummingbird and when i received it the product was a peice of plastic and looked liked a shrinky dink. It was a humminbird cut our of plastic. this was a bait and switch situation and when i brought it to their attention several times, they only offered me a $15.00 refund or for me to send the product back to china which cost more than what i paid for it. Very bad customer service.

we bought something that was not as the pictures made it look. it looks 3D  in the picture but it was just a flat plastic piece of a printed bird, not at all what we thought we were getting. when we tried to return it, it would cost us more then the object was worth because it would need to be sent to china.  when we wrote support they said they could send us $8 instead of the full amount

I ordered the US Army 250th Aniversary Eagle wreath. It is portrayed as a beautiful handcarved eagle wreath. What came was a cheap cardboard cutout. It was a gift for my husband (who served 21 years in the US army). It was disheartening that they would advertise this and then give a cheap product. They offered an $8 refund when I spent $75 (i ordered 3).

Company offered a "realistic" bunny for sale. Pictures DID look real. Even had video of bunny. I ordered it and it was nothing but a stuffed bunny that took a battery. It took 3 steps and would fall over. There was NOTHING realistic about it. I contacted the seller and they told me I could mail it back at my own expense which they estimated to be between $50 - $80. Why would I do that when I only paid $45+ for the item??? I asked for a self address postage page return label and they refused. I told them that I could buy the same EXACT thing on Temu for $3.99 with free shipping. It didn't matter to them. I see they are still selling "realistic" animals, like bunnies, dogs, cats etc. They are also show videos of ACTUAL animals claiming they are what they are selling. I contacted Paypal and they were of no help to me since the seller said I could return it. I thought this would be great thing for the grandkids for Easter. This company should be taken to court and sued for miss representing their product and ripping people off.

This so called interactive bunny rabbit that I purchased from Libiyi is not what was pictured in the ad. Cheap toy that squeaks loud and moves around, eventually falls over, still squeaking. Not as advertised on the ad. Product came in unprotected bag, not as advertised. Not lifelike at all, it is not interactive. Does not reply to voice commands. Not long lasting at all.

- Clinton Township, MI, USA

Their ad was showing 3D pictures of these beautiful spirit birds as they called them. When I received my package and opened it, it was a flat piece of colored plastic in the shape of a hummingbird. I emailed them and they were willing to refund $8.00 and said it would cost me anywhere between $40 -50 to send it back. I just want people to be aware that these are not a 3.D object and they are not worth the money they are offering.

- Spring, TX, USA

Saw advertisement on MSN. Never mentioned that the glasses were coming from China. Took the payment on Paypal/my credit card. Never shipped the item. When contacted, got bogus tracking number and email that they could not cancel this transaction. Buyers be aware that this is a major scam! I should have suspected something when the payment on Paypal was listed as ClickMob...

I ordered a cooling fan June 18th I received a reply thanking me for my order and that was it no invoice no tracking number nothing eventually I did receive it an attempt to return it I have been unable to contact the company by phone or email they have not responded to either forms of communication The product it was received without any invoice or return information very sad way to conduct a business if that's what it really is

Ordered seaglas ,birds perched on driftwood and Shay I received were cards with beaks bird legs and driftwood drawn on it and bits of glass glued to the picture like a kindergarten project done by a child. Trie to get me to accept a $15 refund out of the $99 citing that I was responsible for return shipping to China that would cost between $50-$80. . Paid $28.85 return shipping and still have not seen my refund even after submitting the tracking number to their support services. History of no response after returning purchase and no refund given.

- Jacksonville, FL, USA

Website states and shows stained glass birds. What I received was flat metal with preprinted birds.

- Weslaco, TX, USA

The advertisement is fraudulent and misleading. The add shows stained glass birds perched on a metal branch. The items that I received are poor quality painted metal and not worth the money that I paid.

Libiyi sells shoes. They were too big, so I planned to return them. I discovered no address for returns, and the "company" was completely unresponsive until I found a deeply hidden one. Though they were shipped from 1055 Sesame Street, Franklin Park, IL, I was informed they had to be returned to an address in China for the refund. Shipping costs to China were more than the shoes' cost, $60-$80. I hit a brick wall. Do NOT EVER buy anything from this sham company.

Fraud, scam: I CALL IT EXTORTION. Seniors are a target. This scammer has several aliases to confuse you: LIBIYA. ZEKEA. SURSELL. They switch off identities. I bought 2pair of “doctor designed orthopedically correct sandals that will change your life”. Here is how it works : They send you the WRONG size with NO ACCOMPANYING INVOICE. When you go online for support or call and get “Samuel” the story is YOU MUST RETURN THE SANDALS TO GUANDONG PROVINCE CHINAand agree to pay $50-$80 customs fee! The shoes are worthless, flimsy synthetic and are decidedly NOT ORTHOPEDIC. I ordered size 6 and size 8/9 was delivered (from Shipping Dept.NJ , 1055 Sesame Street (honest), Franklin Park IL 60131. I am in the process of contacting the Massachusetts AG. Be careful, folks!

Libiyi (aka Sursell merchant on my credit card transaction) so-call orthotic shoes are a scam! Their website is ripping buyers off with these cheap horrible made shoes with no support for the feet! Then when the customer wants a refund they try scamming the buyer in to paying shipping fee to return the shoes to a china address. Libiyi original charge the customer $10 only for the shoes to be shipped when they were first purchased!

Charged me $44.99 + $10.99 shipping= $55.98 but only wanted to refund me back $10! I just now found out they do have a company in NY. They told me i would have to return the shoes to a overseas address so they only offered refunding $10 back to me. Kept all the emails for proof of their scam!

- Ocala, FL, USA

When I order on Libiyi website I paid 44.99 for the shoes & 10 for shipping. Nowhere on the Libiyi website is china mention(red flag). Nowhere on their website return policy is china address mention(red flag). The shoes were horrible quality made paper thin no support. I contacted Libiyi by email and voice mail to request the return. Phone number nobody would answer (red flag) left 2 voicemail requesting for someone to contact me with return info, NO replies (red-flag).They sent me an email telling me I would have to ship the shoes back to china at my cost first then they would refund the shoes only or take a $10 refund only (red flag) without shipping the shoes back! If these shoes came from china they only charge me $10 for purchased shipping. We keep going back and forwards arguing about the return. Still they will not answer the primary question “how they shipped the shoes from china for $10” but they will not help their customers on the return shipping! Hidden information is a big part of being a scammer retail. Making it hard on your customers by a fraudulent website return policy too is another way to scam US citizens/customers! I have all the emails too.
