2. On 2/21/25 "Sam" came to my home and repaired my garage door. He replaced some springs, a hose and a bracket. He charged me 1,500 and 60.00 to use a credit card. His invoice said Local Garage Express, not Royale. He said it was the same company.
3. I thought the charge was way out of line so I did some research. In my area that same service would be no more than 465.00.
4. My son had to repair the work he did. We had a gaping area at the top of the garage door.
5. I filed a dispute with my credit card company on 2/23/25.
6. On 3/11/25 Ron the owner called me and said I won the dispute. He asked me to pay 600 for the work that was done as he "was out 1560." He said if I didn't pay he would come to my house, take off all the parts used, and put a lien on my house. Fearful he would do this I paid the 600.
7. On 3/21/25 I found out I lost the dispute.
8. I called Ron and asked for the 600 back, as it was a replacement for the 1560. Ron Said he would return the 600 if I signed a contract with him, stating I would never report his company again and that I would take down the ScamPulse.com complaint. I refused to sign a contract with him and I refused his threats.
9. This company uses many names and addresses. Under the name of LG Garage Express all reviews on ScamPulse.com are negative.
10. As a senior, I felt scammed.
