Lee Robinson Assoc. Financial Advisors Reports & Reviews (1)

- Valley Springs, CA, USA

Called received 23 April 2018 about winning $500K sweepstakes from Publishers Clearing House by a financial group "Lee Robinson & Assoc.". They sounded extremely plausible. The first person then handed the phone over to the financial advisor who then proceeded with the fund rundown. They will handle the tax collected Which amounted to $65K up front to be paid by Lee Robinson Assoc. In turn to start processing a fee of $1,500 (to be obtained from the Western Union) would be forwarded to "Leebe Younus, Hong Kong City, Hong Kong. Since the tax would have been $216K they were able to go the route for corporate taxes therefor the $65K. A security deposit was requested: first $6,500 - the final figure was $1,500. One of the phone numbers was called - supposedly The Federal Gaming Authority and after a hemming & hawing the supposed transaction was verified. However after checking online found out it was indeed a scam. Beware they sounded very professional.
