Scammers on Indeed

I had originally applied for the job on indeed.com and about 2 weeks later I received an email that I had gotten the job. The email was from Clara Savery, an "employment recruiter" for the dental office of Larry R. Goldstein. In the email she said that I was going to receive the employment application through the mail so I could sign it and keep a copy for my records. I was too also receiving a check through the mail to buy all the supplies needed for the job prior to training (laptop, work phone, printer, etc.) Clara also said that I was to be doing a zoom meeting with the manager of said job after they returned from a business trip on March 10th. They sent me the check to my house through FedEx under the sender's name of JIHONG GUO jml address 1075 S Vail Avenue in the city of Montebello, CA 90640-5586. I had googled said employer and they are supposed to be based in the city of Alpharetta GA 30004. I deposited the check not thinking anything of it and got scammed out of almost 3 grand. The Scammer is working out of an apartment in Minnesota. The address is 500 E. Lincoln Street APT 110 Hendricks, MN 56136-9562. I did not cross check the address on the indeed job, or the google page they have with that on the check. CEFCU, the "bank they work with", is an actual credit union bank with headquarter s in the city of Peoria, IL 61656-1715. I called this bank and spoke with them and they in fact confirmed that it was a scam. This happened less than a week ago and they are still contacting me thru text message. They texted me today, March 25th that they have sent another check out to my home address, I have blocked them but they keep texting me and calling me through a different phone number. We are working on filing a police report as we speak. Be careful out there people!

I signed up for a job on indeed for so part time work and seen this great opportunity. But then a email was sent to me a week or so later telling me I’m already hired? How with no job interview orientation or even training. I played along because I knew it was a scam. I wanted to get as much info on this scammer I have email of the person name Christopher Shane betts who so called was the payroll HR manager 😂 [email protected]. Just today they said they will be sending me a check for 3,900 plus dollars to buy supplies. I knew it scam city caught red handed. So what did I do I told fedex cancel whatever is coming my way and return to sender. Got him shaking in his boots now he didn’t respond to my text when I exposed him with info that said this job wasn’t even hiring and they will never send their employees checks to purchase any supplies. I will add more details so y’all can read the rest. They thought they got away but I report people. Stay safe people.

I was applying for a job on indeed and then I got contacted by a man named Sean Baye lander with a Gmail account. He congratulate me on being excepted and my application reviewed and he asked for my full name address and phone number and this is the email that he gave to me, I will upload it

Homermagallanes=Scammer

I was looking for jobs on indeed when i saw an application for a remote job. I applied and recieved a response the next day telling me i was already hired and immediately the first question was to send my payroll and that i was going to be sent a check to purchase my equipment to start working ive already been scammed this way before so i can assure this man is a scammer. Be on the alert of any remote jobs that want you to pay without an interview.
