Do not rent from 4319 Covington hwy, Decatur Georgia

They have left multiple tenants without air conditioning for almost a year now. They keep switching different property management companies, and using them as a go-to for tenant complaints. But as soon as you follow up, they either ignore you or they switch the communication to a different random property manager. Or they'll lie and say they're working on things so that you won't keep asking. We begged for pest control for months to help with a bug problem. And they also don't keep the building up to code, wires and possible asbestos exposed through the ceiling. Bathrooms are not properly maintained and cleaned, too hot to be able to work comfortably.

This Scammer is the worst of the worst ! In this economy it's not easy to find a job. They used job seekers excitement to scam them !
I also received the same text mesg, then upload MS teams to reach out to this Michael Hurley. Btw if you notice the profile photo is so blurry (the company logo) and the email address oh yeah ! Def a Scammer !
Luckily I googled the company first then I saw these helpful posts!

As per the other reviews, it's a complete scam. I reached the last step where I received the check from Micheal Hurley and took it to the bank where we confirmed it was a fake check. Later upon telling him it was deposited, he asked me to wire money to a bank in another state. After telling him it won't work he suggested I send him money on Zelle or Venmo. I told him I need to go to the bank the next day to check with them and he started freaking out (obviously) saying in all caps "YOU ARE MAKING THE VENDOR WAIT TOO LONG," his reason for freaking out was due to that being around the time the check would be reviewed and the money would be removed from a bank account as it is a fake check. I'm sorry to those who wanted a great opportunity or job with good pay, but this was not the right one for you. Please don't give up in your endeavors and I wish you luck on your job search.

Same as above reviews. Contacted via text at 4:30AM CALIFORNIA time, asked a series of questions including who I bank with! I refuse to divulge any personal information from that point. I was told I'd receive an email with final instructions and information.

Applied for remote data entry position. Received text message next day stating I needed to contact Hiring Manager via Microsoft Teams. Completed an unscheduled “interview”. Job offered. Acceptance letter received, with incorrect information. Told they will provide all materials needed for position after a full list was provided from me of what I have already available. Told a check will be sent to me, then told to print out the check and deposit into mobile banking.

Scam. Asked directed questions. Shady!

I applied to a remote data entry position on LinkedIn, and two days later received the following text - “Hello XXXXXX,

Our Recruiter team at Lalani Ventures has reviewed your resume in consideration of your application for the Data Entry Clerk (remote) position with a pay of $28/hr. You are required to Setup Microsoft Teams account for the interview, and if you have one already, proceed by connecting with the Hiring Manager (Michael E. Hurley) through this invite ID () on Microsoft Teams for the job briefing and interview.” When I clicked on the link, it brought me to a teams chat that was clearly with a bot - I then checked LinkedIn for the posting and saw it had been taken down.

I received the same. I went along with it, although I was skeptical as the "interview" was a bot. I also called back.the number that sent me the original text and a female answered that didn't speak English.
