Type of a scam: Worthless Problem-solving Service

Beware. This is a fraudulent website. They will take your money and give you nothing in return. As others, I made the mistake of thinking this was the real LA casting website. They are not. After I created an account, I was not able to access it even once because it kept saying I had wrong user ID or password. I tried to contact them and left a message on their phone and did not get a call back. I also noticed I did not receive any emails from them or a confirmation letter from them. I called my bank and filed a dispute that I was not able to use their service and wanted a refund. They sent my bank a phony copy of an email they said they sent to me which I did not receive. They did not attempt to reach out to me in any way to try to resolve the issue. I sent a forgot email request and received an auto email saying they would get back to me and that they were only manually resetting passwords at this time. The website appears normal when you click on it. But to call themselves the largest casting network in LA is a joke, if they even exist. They are complete scammers.

Casting Networks is the name of the company. Casting Networks is the SCAM company who falsely advertise as LA Casting. They are not LA Casting.

I was looking to sign up with LA Casting online so I did a google search and found L.A. Casting. I clicked on their website and signed up for an annual subscription for $99.00. It was only yesterday I realized that I signed up on the wrong website. While these two companies have similar names, they have different websites (https://login.lacasting.com/ vs. https://www.lacastinginc.com/). I looked at the reviews and saw that several people had complained about the misleading practice, and made the same mistake I did. They have done nothing to correct this. I've reached out to them to for a refund and cancelation of my subscription. They only offered me a cancellation even though I have never used their services or received an invoice. This is bad business practice. I want my money back, and I want them to put up a disclaimer that they are not LA Casting!
