Type of a scam Online Purchase
I placed an online order through https://www.kkonestore.com/contact-b/. in the amount of $168.00 for a pair of shoes (order #139518). On August 5th I received the following message, "Thank you so much for your great support on us. How are you recently? Hope you and your family are good. Excuse me, while processing your order just now, my warehouse colleague told me that there is no US M11.5 size in stock, but there is US M11 or US M12, can you choose one of these two sizes? We look forward to your reply. If you need further assistance or have any additional questions, feel free to contact us again. Best Regards, Melody Senior KKONESPORT Team.
I provided the following response, "Hello ******. Unfortunately a size 11 is too small and a 12 too big for playing basketball. I’d be appreciative if you could please refund this purchase for me. Thanks so much, *****."
KKOnesport charged my credit card even though product was never shipped. Two subsequent inquires were met with the following message, "Howdy! Thanks for reaching out to us. We have received your query, and working on it. We’ll be getting back to you as soon as possible! Thanks! Best Regards, Stanimir.
I believe it is false advertising to claim to sell an item/size that you do not carry and fraudulent to charge a customer the item that you don't carry. Today, August 26th (21 days after the purchase) with no refund, I reported the transaction as fraud to my credit card company.
I'd be most appreciative if the Better Business Bureau could please take action to ensure that other people are not scammed by this company.
