I received an unsolicited text message from +1(531)220-0181. The messenger identified their self as "Kayla" from "NE Roof Repairs." They stated that they were doing free roof inspections for people in my area. Then they asked if I still wanted that free inspection. I have never contacted nor asked anyone or any business for a free roof inspection. I asked who they were and how they got this contact information. I never identified myself or verified that they have correct information. They were persistent in trying to get me to agree to an inspection and to provide info. I was just as persistent in asking who they were, how they got this info and not giving up or verifying anything. They said their partner would be in touch with me and I haven't heard anything in 20+ hours. I've researched and asked around and cannot find any business named "NE Roof Repair." I believe this is a scam to get people to agree to pay for work that is not needed because they could not answer simple questions about who they were and where they get their information.
