Type of a scam Phishing
The site itself is quite fishy, there are no options to see your account or access any account benefits such as account information, a shopping cart or a customer portal to update any information such as shipping address or payment information.
I signed up for their newsletter, and received no thank you or confirmation email. I also registered for an account and similarly received no email confirmation until the next day, which their sales manager "Frank D." Gave me instructions on how to continue registration. The instructions state that I have to provide my full legal name, address and phone number, as well as a picture of my ID card or any other personal identification. He also asked for a document containing my name, address and phone number.
I sent over a picture with my personal information, and followed instructions believing this is just the procedure I'd have to go through to register. This guy replied back with the exact same set of instructions and said to provide the information I just sent him.
I realized this was fishy, the process was convoluted and I was getting fed up at this point. Far too many steps for a simple account registry so I sent him a message asking to unsubscribe my email and cancel my registration.
He told me "you do it yourself". Now, since there is no way to access any account options on their site or delete your account I told him "okay how do I do that"
He replied, "I don't know I'm not a customer. Stop wasting people's time"
This was very rude, and since he is the sales manager and his messages were sent from their support email...I believe he is there to help new customers and provide guidance. He gave clear instructions asking for my personal information so why no instructions guiding me through any other process? Also a sales manager would have knowledge of how their website works. I fear others might have given their personal information, including payment details to this sketchy website. I also tried to log in on their website with my email and password I created for my account and it tells me my information is incorrect every time. Only I documented this information exactly so I wouldn't misplace it. There is no way to log in or delete my account, nor unsubscribe from their spammy newsletter.
Overall horrible experience with these people and I'd advise against giving them any personal information. I believe they are running a scam operation or possibly selling customer information to third parties. Proceed with absolute caution.
