I learned of a clearance site for Joann Fabric and Craft stores and ordered some items. They would not accept credit-debit cards, only credit cards. I placed an order with my credit card for &42.89 the week of June 17th. I was then alerted by a friend that the site was fraudulent. I put a stop on my credit card and emailed the company about what I had learned and said that I wouldn’t pay for the order. I received 2 emails today from “[email protected]”: one saying the site was not a scam and the other saying my order had shipped. On Monday, June 24, 2024, I will check if my bank had processed the credit card charge before I put a hold on my credit card. Thank you very much for checking on this “company.”
