Type of a scam Online Purchase

On March 10, 2025, I saw an ad on Instagram for Joann (fabrics, sewing machines, notions, yarn, etc.), and tapped on the ad, which showed going-out-of-business-sale products. My browser opened, and I found several items of interest. I made my first purchase from http://joann-fabricsclosing.com/, and received a purchase confirmation email. Later that day, I returned to the site to make an additional purchase, but I had to use a different email address: the site notified me with a pop-up that I could not make more than 1 purchase per day. I made the purchase, received the email confirmation, and repeated this 2 more times over the next couple of days. I made a total of 4 separate purchases from this site. Each purchase was estimated for delivery by the end of March, or the first week of April, and the confirmation emails said I would receive additional emails with tracking info once items shipped. To date, I have not received any emails from the seller with that information. For 2 purchases I used bank debit cards, and for the other 2 I used PayPal (I could only enter 1 method in the dropdown above). I have been able to file reports with my bank and PayPal, and so far have been provided with partial refunds through the work of each institution, which is ongoing.
