The scammer who named themselves as Jennifer Adams spoke with urgency and would not let me engage in conversation. She indicated that she had repeatedly attempted to contact my ex-father-in-law over the course of an hour this morning and was unable to reach him. Without even asking if I knew the target person or had contact with them, she asked me to take a message to deliver it. She proceeded to state she was with the Civil Service Dispatch and was attempting to serve said person. She provided a case number 24-024886 and indicated that my ex-father-in-law would be aware of the legal actions being taken against him. She indicated that I had one hour to deliver the message and for my ex-father-in-law to contact the law office involved @ 888-213-0383, otherwise a warrant would be issued. Again, she stated all of this without even confirming I had contact with the targeted person. As soon as she was done providing me with the details of the message that she wanted me to deliver, she disconnected from the call immediately. She created a sense of urgency with her tone, delivery and unwillingness to let me engage in the conversation or ask questions. The urgency was a tactic to attempt to force me to contact the phone number she provided.
