Scammer posted Cubs tickets on Craigslist and was responsive immediately before game time to an offer of 4 tix for $50. (Normally this is way low, but it was raining that night and also ten minutes before the game was to begin. Ultimately, the game was rained out that night.)

Several back and forth communications by text to a Chicago area-code phone number. Scammer requested transfer by Zelle and immediately went silent once the transfer went through. We texted and called "Jason McAdd" or "Jason M Cadd" or whatever from several phones from several different area codes and he remained silent. Checked at the Cubs' box office if there was any MLB season ticket holder that used *** or ###-###-####.
