Izaccess Inc. Reports & Reviews (8)

It started with me trying to get to online banking. Trouble with banking not working. Then IZ Access can on line to ask if I needed help. This person puts me on to a technical support person. He said he needed control of my computer. I agreed to let him. He said he found a virus on my computer. He needed to clean it. I was to sit and watch him. When he said he was finished we discussed the amount I owed for the service. He said for one year so much money then for three years $640. I gave him personal information to pay the services. Then he called back the next day to say that this computer I had wasn't able the work with their software program. He was going to refund me half my money. Then when he and I were going through the process of the refund it went wrong. The refund was $320. He somehow using a program that refunds showed the refund to be $3200. He acted verbally "o my God, o my God". I then got concerned. I said to him "Let's go back and fix it." Hesai the money had already been deposited and that all kind of things would happen. He told me to go to Walmart and purchase Visa Vanilla Gift Cards to correct this. I should have known better but I was conserned. I went and purchased five gift cards for $500 each $2500. I didn't get all the gift cards right. He asked me to read off the numbers on the cards to make sure they were good. This ended up being $1500. I went to Walgreens and picked up a $200 Visa Vanilla Gift card. In total this person got $1700. I on the other hand had spent $2700. I do believe I was truly scammed.

IZ Access tried to scam my elderly mother out of $900 dollars for 3 years of IT support.

This person or persons also goes by the company Enigma Digitals and Aldebaran Infotech LLC.

Internet Pop-up with misleading message about issues with your computer and a phone number to fix it led my 63 year old, multiple stroke victim mother to spend $1,199.99 for 3 years of tech support she doesn't need on a computer that isn't hers. When I asked my mom what she got from Izaccess.com she had no clue other than to say "they fixed something." We called for a refund and explained my mother's situation, at first they (John Nash ext 116) said - only $400, I said no to that, they offered $700 and explained that the tool or firewall they install is from a 3rd party with a unique software key that they cannot get a refund on and apparently costs their company $500, which I don't believe. Whatever, all ridiculous. This was some type of malware or phishing scam that my Senior citizen mother fell for. I'm sure they target unwitting Seniors all the time take advantage of their technological ignorance. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE FRAUDSTERS AT IZACCESS. They are thieves and charlatans. A class action lawsuit may be in order.

Pop-up internet SCAM - be warned. On December 20,2019, I must have clicked on a bad link, my computer froze, and there was a message to call this number on the screen. The people on the phone tried to scare me, saying “don’t turn off the computer until to pay me $199, or you will lose everything.” I have Norton Anti-virus, but they told me that it would not help. We argued for awhile, but I was frustrated. So I paid the Money to get my computer back. I called Norton, and they told me it was a scam. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. Please shut this company down. I am 85 years old and not that tech savvy. This company is a scam and should be shut down. I see 17 complaints - there are probably thousands more who are too embarrassed to admit that they were scammed. Please shut them down!

My computer was completely lockedup. There was a message on the screen that appeared to be from Microsoft Support that instructed me that there had been an illegal use of my computer and therefore they had shut it down to prevent any other damage. I was also instructed not to turn off the computer. There was an 800 number to call for help. When I called, the person I talked to ran some scans on my laptop that he said indicated that there were 13 unauthorized people who had control of my computer. Further, he told me that I had no firewall prtection because it had expired. This was a lie. He also said there was a Trojan virus on the laptop that had been used by 131 people. I questioned him about who he was and how I knew he was from Microsoft. He kept talking and told me that no one could use the Microsoft label if they weren'He then gave me a listof things that needed to be done to solve the problem. The primary of which was to pay a technician to fix the "problem" The choice I was given was to pay for one year of tech support that would include paying the technician. Stupidly, I paid the amount and a technician worked on my laptop for about15 minutes. I got a phone call at that point that said I could use my laptop normally. Imagine my surprise when I got an emailed copy of the bill that had absolutely nothing to do with fixing my firewall and was not from Microsoft. I believe this was a scam, and I am currently trying to cancel this "service" that I did not want nor need.

IZACCESS hacked my wife's email and then posed to be an IT Support Company for AT&T. A phone number supposedly for AT&T was provided via the email error message. When calling this number, my wife was redirected to call IZACCESS for password reset assistance. In calling IZACESS, we needed to provide them with a credit card number for a charge of $99.00 so that that they could install firewalls to multiple devices to prevent this from happening in the future. After this was done, and in order to recover her email sign-in credentials, they provided us with a phone number to AT&T. After being on hold for several minutes, AT&T was able to assist with resetting the password. While being on hold I investigated IZACCESS with another device where I found multiple negative reviews via the ScamPulse.com site. I promptly signed IZACCESS off the computer they remoted in to. At this point, Michael from IZACESS Inc. got very agitated and asked why I did that. I told him that this was a scam and that we were done. He promptly said that he would refund the $99.00. We contacted our credit card company promptly, and while no charges had yet hit our account, they took down the Company's name and phone number and passed it on to their fraud department. IZACESS is a bait and switch scam; run away from this Company! While the website provided states their in N.J., I think this is not their website. In querying this company further, I found a location in Florida.
