Puppy available for adoption and they will bring the pup to you

It started out with putting down a deposit for the puppy. Then we were asked to pay for shots and supplies for training the puppy. We were then asked to pay the full price for the dog. Then just before the puppy was to be delivered a registration for shipping fee. All was to be paid through Applepay or Zelle. The Shipper contacted us and gave us a link to a tracking website for their company “. Very long story and a month later, they are still trying to get more money out of us for a non-existent dog. We have reported it to our police department.

Italian Greyhound Scam

I joined a private Italian Greyhound group on Facebook. Donna Holmes said she had a few puppies left & to PM her. I PM'd her. She had me choose a dog. Gave me the pups name as Kelly. Told me she would drive it down to me on Saturday. All for $950. I just had to pay her $350 up front via Applepay. Her English was broken. When I became nervous, I asked her if we could speak on the phone. It took her a little time to answer and she told me she was deaf & could not talk on the phone. I looked at her Facebook page. She listed her father as a dark complexion man who was younger than she was. I felt this was a scam. I did not give her any money or my address. It's a shame there are people out there like this.
