Found them on Google, asked where they were after telling them where we were. They were only 10 minutes away. They really pushed for a deposit, and we told them, since we were only 10 minutes away, we would bring a check by for the deposit and reserve the puppy after looking at her. They did not want to do that, would only meet with us after the deposit was made. Many of the terms used were not standard English in the responses back and forth. I warned my wife that is sounded like a scam. If they were real, they would have no issue with us coming by to look at the dog and put a deposit down in person.
