Type of a scam Online Purchase

Scammed for $2100

This person claims to breed and sell English bulldogs. Her website looks authentic.
I engaged her on Facebook looking to purchase a puppy.
We entered into an agreement and I paid her $2100 including delivery.
Early on the day of delivery she told me she dropped.off the puppy at the airport and to look for an email confirming delivery. Upon confirming delivery details I received an additional email stating I needed.to pay an additional $1000 to cover insurance which was mandatory.
I received multiple emails from the carrier company telling me to pay the insurance or the dog would stay at the airport. By now i knew there was a problem. I told her I no longer wanted the puppy and asked for a refund. I have yet to see a dime. I ignored the signs..bad Grammer, misspelled words spotty communications along the way but being pushy when it came to wanting money.
Don't be the fool I was!

Type of a scam Online Purchase

This individual is claiming to adopt out English bulldogs. I started a purchase with her on Facebook messenger where she had me advance her 2500 for a puppy. She has a very real looking website that I visited to confirm she was a breeder. She informed me that she would be delivering the puppy to my home same day and would keep me posted. I waited all day with very little communication from her. At about 7 in the evening she told me she was half way to my house. I waited until midnight, messaging her with no response. In the morning she informed me that the puppy was in quarantine at the airport because she didn’t get the appropriate paperwork and did not have a carrier suitable for transfer. Nothing at this point was making sense and I became worried. I asked for proof that she was still delivering the puppy and she just told me to trust her. She then wanted me to advance her more money for a carrier because she did not have any cash. I declined and told her I wanted a full refund and was not sending her any more money. After this she got very nasty and tried to blame me for things she claimed to have gone through. She did finally say she would refund me, but I would have to wait until she talked to her husband. I still have not gotten a refund.
