I had 2 in Sept. I kept a phone log of all unknown calls. I try not to answer because they are live number phishing. They leave a message.

The Reason behind the call is to inform you that (un intelligible ) has issued against your name from the court of Washington D.C.

You physical address is under federal investigation which is going to execute in your state and before this action takes place

We need to discuss with you regarding this case.so get back to division

Same number called a second time later in month, Left similar message.

I just got another phone call last week 10/27/15. I did pick up and got this much.

10:02 My name Dennis Quaid. (yes, he did say that) internal revenue services.

the reason for this call is to inform you the irs is filing law suit against you.

Received phone call, said they were from IRS & were filing a lawsuit to collect back taxes. Didn't return their call.

They left a phone message that the IRS was filing a law suit against us, and left this number to return the call. It was also the same number that showed up on the caller ID.: 360-203-3294, Forks, WA. 10/30/15.

Call my senior mother and they told her she owed the IRS money and if she did not pay the sheriff would be coming to her home and arrest her

Four phone calls from 509-872-5573 in 24 hour span, leaving a message stating that they are the IRS, and and that there is a lawsuit against us. They say to call immediately for more information. We did not call back. I'm curious how many times they will call before giving up on our phone number.

Phone stating they were with the IRS and wanted personal information from the claimant stating he owes them of over $5,000.00 and wanted he bank account number etc

The call stated I was being sued by the IRS and that I needed to contact their office immediately. And they also said, this was their final call. It was a robotic voice so I called BBB.org to see if they knew anything about this scam. They directed me to this tracker site to view and report this incident. The number that called was 215-602-1074.

These people keep calling to tell me that there is a legal case under my name "so before anything goes wrong" they want me to call them back in their department (347-983-9591 but the telephone number changes every time they call me). They say that if I don't call them back, they will have to forward the case to the courthouse. Highly unbelievable. Every time they call, since I do not recognize the number, I let it go to voicemail. This is just getting really annoying.

someone claims to be from irs and an leaves a message on my answering machine saying an arrest warrant has been issued for me from the irs because I owe them money. leaves a phone number to call back and it says leave your name and number and they will call you back.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be Officer Kimberly Brown with the IRS. She called from a 202-741-4061 number and said my case # was 07591; said they had a warrant out for my arrest.

a machine called me claiming that the IRS had charges against me. I called the number back edward micheal marshall answered the phone and explained that the call was being monitored by police and any harrasment will be charged too. then he goes on and explains the 4 charges, after scaring me by saying that my drivers license will be suspended for 5 years and all assets will be siezed he asked if i wanted to resolve the charges by paying 4 thousand dollars but not with a debt card or bank.

I just received a phone call from an automated voice telling me that the IRS is going to file a lawsuit against me .

I know I pay my taxes and therefore looked up information on IRS scams on the internet and found plenty of reports, using the exact same words. So I am reporting it . Thank You

I have been contacted 3 times today by telephone from an automated voice telling me I am being filed on by the IRS for a lawsuit. I did report this to you here at this site earlier after the first call. Since then I have received 2 more and this time I took down the correct full number the automated voice left me, it is 202 779 4631.That is the number the call came in from that showed up on the caller ID. Thank You for your time.

Received call on my land line from Tacoma, WA from (253) 292-6055 with recording stating that this was my final notice and I was about to be sued by the IRS and should call this number back.

This is a call I've received twice in the past two days.

It alerts me that the IRS is trying to reach me. If I do not contact them at the number provided "the cops" will be coming to arrest me.

The phone number to contact them is 360-663-4460.

I did nit return the call, but I worry that some one might be scammed if they do return the call.

This phone number is also the number that is making the call to my phone.
