Received automated phone message saying I was included in a class action law suit and previous attempts to contact me were unsuccessful. Called the number, Idee Moore was case officer for IRS she said. she asked my name and zip code and then I told her I thought she didn't sound on the up and up, fraudulent. She told me to hang up, and officer would be at my door in 45 minutes. I said Good, I can't wait to talk to an officer.

I got a call from "The IRS" saying that they had been trying to get in touch with me for a while. Serious charges against me. Cops to pick me up.

I received a call a few minutes from the above number at my business claiming to be the IRS. When I answered it was an automated robocall telling me to call the IRS at the number they gave me because the business owed taxes. The business name is NHD Construction. If I didn't respond a warrant would be issued for my arrest etc.

I was left a message from the IRS. Part of the message was cut off. When I returned the call the man said it was the IRS. He gave his name as Steve Jackson Badge # IRM86600 and gave me a claim number. He said that I was being investigated for tax evasion and something else and I think he said there was a warrant for me. He ask for my address. I told him he should have it. He said he did but he needed me to verify it. I told him if he gave it to me I would tell him yes or no. He said he could not. I had to tell him the address. I hung up.

this number has called me 11 times today

This number called me multiple times at work. I finally answered and was told it was about a government grant. I knew this was a scam and asked to be put on the 'Do Not Call List.' After asking if I was the owner of the phone, I said yes. They hung up. I knew then I had already said too much.

I was told that an arrest warrant was issued under my name and that they are going ahead with the lawsuit because I frauded the IRS. I have the audio recording if that is helpful.

Received call claiming to be IRS on my personal cell phone which I did not answer. They left voicemail and stated there was an issue with my tax filing and 4 charges were pending againist me. Stated that if I did not take action in 24 hours local police would take me into custody. They told me to call back to resolve charges. I did not call back.

I reported earlier but had the wrong number. Some left a message saying it's and I needed to return call. I called back and the man said I was being investigated for tax evasion and had warrants. He gave me a name and badge number. I reported it in my first claim. I do not have it now. I gave him my name and he gave me a claim number. He ask for my address. I told him he should have it and I would verify it for him. He said he couldn't that I had to give to him and he would verify it. I hung up. I got a second call with a message from a different number saying it was second attempt to contact me.

Got an automated call from ?1 (612) 383-9884? which said the IRS was investigating me for tax evasion with a warrant for my arrest and to call them back immediately! Then the call ends abruptly.

I received a call from 313-356-2334 saying that "______ expired after that you will be _______ custody by the local police as there are four serious allgations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you the number to reach us is 313-356-2334 I repeat 313-356-2334 thank you..."

When I called back the person who answered said his name was Jim Garran I repeatedly asked him what county he was located in. He was unable to answer, kept saying he was from Washington DC. I told him that is not a county and he hung up on me. I tried calling today (the very following day) and now the number is not in service. The number came up as a Detroit, Michigan number.

- Parsippany, NJ, USA

this robocall called twice and left same robo message. Robocall message in voicemail threatens caller with arrest warrant but does not even know callers name so will sound sketchy from the outset.

did not engage but wanted to warn others in NJ Area to be on lookout.

Phone # most likely spoofed but shows in Caller ID as Chicago area tel #

Dear ScamPulse.com , please feel free to call the #

Someone called my ex-wife claiming to be the IRS and said she needed to contact them or she would be arrested.

On Sept 19 at 5:46pm I received a message on my cell threatening me with being arrested if I did not call back and resolve the issue.

Message said: "The next 24 working hours and once again expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 313-356-2334."

Voice sounded automated. When I searched the number on line found that a lot of others were getting similar calls. I did not answer nor call back.

- Waukesha, WI, USA

Phone call indicated we would be promptly arrested if we do not return their call.

Sounds somewhat official.

Received a call claiming to be from the IRS. I couldn't quite hear everything the message was saying, but it was along the lines that if I did not contact the number they provided within a certain time that I could be arrested. I called the number right back trying to get more information (even though I knew it was most likely a scam) and spoke to a person with a foreign accent. I was trying to get information but he would not give me any unless I gave him my information first. We got nowhere so I eventually hung up.

Today 19 September 2018, I received from two phone numbers listed above the same voice mail stating i needed to call then within 24 hours because i had pending warrants for unpaid taxes and the local cops were going to come and arrest me. i called the number back using a fake name and fake address and they were able to locate me in their records showing i owed $4,596.00. They gave me options to either fight the case in court or they could handle it. I asked what it would take to settle using their out of court services and they stated to go to closes store while we stayed on line and purchase a "Google" card. I hung up! I called the other number, once again gave them a different fake name and address and the amount I owed was the same. The individuals behind this have a very heavy foreign accent. I hung up!

- Amarillo, TX, USA

I received two calls from the same person using two different numbers. I spoke with one person and eventually his supervisor who said I owed $4000 from an audit done 2012-2017. The supervisor said the only way to make this go away would be to pay $250 today. I didn't pay but called the ScamPulse.com who confirmed it was a scam. The two men had foreign accents.
