Also said that they had come to our house several times to notify in person with legal documents. Also spoke with officer mark lee IRM#10256. They have my name, dob and last four digits of social security. How can I protect myself?

the message said that this was the IRS and that this was the last contact they would be making. a lawsuit was being filed for back taxes and unless i contacted them they would go forward with the lawsuit and a warrant would be issued for my arrest, A number was left to contact them to settle the matter.

The phone calls I received from the numbers listed above both left threatening messages stating that we owe taxes to the IRS. Both calls were received today, 6/28/16. I have had calls from other unknown numbers in the last couple days that did not leave a voice mail.
